These should work great in cake pans. However, I bought these for my new hot air fryer. I do to know what they are supposed to do in a hot air fryer. I read about people using them for that style of cooking and thought I must need them too. Voila! They appeared on my doorstep.My dad sold industrial papers for his entire working life. One of these papers he sold is parchment. Parchment is a very important product in the manufacturing of many things. Surprising. We always had rolls of parchment to draw on when we were kids. These rounds of parchment are very nice quality.I am not sure why this parchment is needed in the air fryer, but I used a round of it when cooking a turkey breast the other day. Unfortunately, neither the turkey breast nor the parchment fared too well. When I turned the turkey breast over supposedly half way through the cooking process, the parchment stuck to the turkey and I couldn’t get it off. In the end both the turkey and the parchment were almost inedible. I am not blaming that on the parchment. I am blaming that on the user who is wondering why anybody needs this humongous appliance.From now on the round parchments will be used where they belong. In cake pans. Definitely a little luxury as I have always cut rolls of parchment very imperfectly to fit cake pans.

These are the only 8 inch parchment that are an exact fit in my Chicago Metallic straight sided cake pans – others are a bit oversized.

Bought these to make Japanese cheesecake so it would release from the pan. Worked great for that & now also use with my tortilla press. Works better than a cut Ziploc for making tortillas, perfect size & they peel off easily
