A good price for a stainless steel shredder with four cylinders. Not sure if I will ever use the garlic one, but it is nice to have two sizes of grating ones. When I took this out of the box, there was an almost invisible shard of steel on the opening of the body which, had I not been paying attention, could have sliced my hand open. I was able to sand it off and it is now smooth (QC?). The cylinders work well, but the edges aren’t rolled completely closed allowing food to collect in them. It is not easy and it is quite time consuming to clean them out. It would be a nice improvement to remedy this. Otherwise a good product, seems sturdy and long lasting.

It works decent, I just wish that the top was wider so you wouldn’t have to cut cheese blocks or some veggies to fit and sometimes you have to dig out your shredded cheese and vegetables with the little picks that they have included

I thought this was a good product at first. Although I had to cut my cheese in small pieces it shredded very well. The problem I have is removing the blade from the housing. I cannot get it out there are no instructions on how to take it out and the company does not respond to your emails. I will never purchased from this company again. A company without customer service is not for me, unfortunately because I didnโt try it as soon as I received it, it is now too late for me to return it.

This grater attachment for Kitchen Aid stand mixers fits perfectly in the mixer.So far, I’ve only used it to grate cheese, but it does make quick work of a couple of pounds of block cheddar.Easy to clean afterward with the included tools.I suggest cleaning it immediately after using hot water while the food is still soft and not stuck to the device. Otherwise, it might be difficult to get the food out from under the blade attachment wheel that spins at the back of the large opening.This unit has one more blade than the Kitchen Aid model and is ALL thick stainless steel – NO PLASTIC.I suspect this attachment will outlast me.

I only gave 3 stars because the size could be bigger to accommodate a bit larger items. We cut our blocks of cheese in two but with this one youโd have to cut it in threes lengthwise and get shorter shreds of cheese.

Excellent attachment for my mixer. Have used it many times on various food items. The results are always good. Came 2 days early and in perfect condition. A little tip: do not try to put the various graters in without first securing the body into the mixer. Then the graters go in and lock easier.
