Update_2021-04-21:I’m again glad I have this pot in my Foodi arsenal because today I noticed how many areas around the inside bottom edge of the Foodi’s original pot have scratched off in 2 yrs of moderate use. I often use the Foodi’s metal rack to hold its multi-purpose pan, so perhaps that’s how the scratching occurred. The upside is that I now have more room in my cabinet since I now have only one extra inner pot.————————————————————————Original review:I purchased my Foodi in early March of 2019 and since then it’s been my primary method of cooking, but I cook in large batches, so it’s not necessary to use the Foodi every day.My new stainless steel inner potβwhich is a beauty, btwβarrived last weekend and I’m very happy I have it because despite taking care w/the original ceramic-coated pot I’ve noticed a few very small areas at the bottom where that coating is beginning to come off. No metal has ever touched that coating other than the Foodi’s own rack or basket.I primarily pressure cook in my Foodi, esp soft-boiling 18 organic eggs at a time for breakfasts for 9 morningsβgrade A large eggs take 1 minute at Low pressure using 1/2 cup of very hot water; quick release; an ice bath to halt cooking; and then refrigeration. I’ve been cooking my breakfast eggs ahead of time for years and have never had a health problem from doing so BUT I also make sure my refrigerator is good & cold since I often buy uncured meat.I broil my steaks in it; pressure cook ground beef & ground turkey in the Foodi’s multipurpose pan on the reversible rackβput the pan on the rack BEFORE putting it in the Foodi. Sliced summer squash rounds cook easily on the crisper pan while the entrΓ©e is cooking below it. The Foodi also does a great job w/winter squash halves on the reversible rack using either quick release or natural release.I’ve done all of the above with this new stainless steel inner pot. It washed up quickly but I did notice some spots at the bottom after I dried it tonight. They were quickly & easily removed with baking soda dampened w/a little white vinegar. The manufacturer includes a card w/instructions for “descaling” the pot down the line if those deposits form. I prefer to address them right away so I can push my Foodi out of the way rather than take the time needed to boil & dissolve them w/an acidβlemon juice or vinegarβlater.

After asking so many questions to customers who already bought this item and gave reviews, with no positive answers, I finally took a chance to see if This container works with Instant Pot Duo Crisp 6.5qt with Ultimate lid and it Did!!

It did stain more than the original pot so not to happy about that

replaced the original Foodi max non stick bowl which deteriorates at an alarming rate. We appreciate the possibility of cleaning with abrasives when required.

I bought this pan to replace the one that came with my ninja foodie. It has gotten hard to clean over the years and I think it’s dented and has caused me to get pot warnings. I decided to give this pan a try before I replaced the entire appliance. I am so glad I did. All my problems are solved and I wish I had bought a stainless pan sooner. It is so easy to clean and I can use any utensil I want in it without worrying about scratches. It fits my ninja foodie 6.5 q perfectly.

The pot itself is sturdy stainless steel.. I love stainless steel because itβs the easiest pot to clean that youβll ever ownβ¦ unfortunately it doesnβt fit my 8 QT pressure cooker.. the measurements of the pot are right there on the page you order from.. be sure to measure your pot.. I went on the recommendation of a person that said it fit her PPC XL.. thatβs exactly what I have.. but it didnβt fitβ¦ Too tall

Wanted to convert to stainless steel with no coating in my ninja foodi old model. Well worth it, plus I still use the old one for grilling/broiling on a stainless steel rack. Will purchase again, but Iβll wait for prime day next time.I like having two liner pots to quickly switch out when I prep food ahead of time.
