Put it on when I got it, seemed to make a lot of banging noise. Tried it out with first baking project, and no noise. Does scrape bowl better than original attachment. Definitely a keeper.

It’s an after market beater, so the “flex” part doesn’t quite scrape the edges of the bowl like it’s suppose to, just mainly at the top 3-4 inches and it doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl at all. Still have to scrape the sides and bottom, which I’m used to doing anyway. It is great at having less air bubbles in icing, though.

Been looking everywhere to find a blade like this to fit my bowl lift professional five. It fits in the bowl but it creates a shaking and thumping in the machine.

This works well for the intended purpose. I don’t have to scrape down the sides as frequently. But it does add to the noise level of the mixer. Sort of a thumping sound that doesn’t occur with the paddle that came with the machine.

In a hurry I ordered this. It fits a 6 quart well enough. Everytime I was beating anything above 4 speed it started collecting a ring around the top. 5 batches of buttercream and 4 cupcake mixes all did it. Also left just enough of a gap at the bottom it didn’t beat that well either. The entire purpose of these types of beaters is so we don’t have to scrape the bowl. Needless to say I was scraping an awful lot. Bought another blade from a different company and this will only serve as an emergency backup.
