I like this product. That being said you have to kind of figure things out for yourself as far as the timing. It doesnβt seem to mention anything about the strength of the microwave but I know mines not as strong as some. I found that if I do the 2 1/2 minutes give it all a stir, another 2 minutes and stir then a final 2 minutes and it is done. My only issue with this is that it always overflows a bit on the very last one. Not the whole thing because most of the water is gone at that point but still it does make a bit of a mess in the microwave. However since it makes it so much faster than cooking in a pan on the stove Iβm OK with it. You didnβt go ahead and just follow the regular directions for the mac & cheese. My two grandchildren and son live with me and they are young so of course they like macaroni and cheese lol. We have it at least once a week. This is a good timesaver for us for meal time. I would definitely buy this as long as you understand how it works.

I like it! However I have a 1000 watt microwave and it the pasta definitely wasnβt done after the recommended time. So hereβs how I got it to βworkβ: I filled like 5mm above the fill line, did 2:30, stirred, did another 2 mins, didnβt open the microwave but let it sit (to ensure no boiling over), then a final 2 minutes. Came out perfectly. So all in all, for a microwave that is slightly less wattage, under 8 minutes isnβt bad. And no dirty pot and strainer!

I was excited when I saw this since I don’t have full access to my kitchen due to house repairs. But it’s not perfect. It took me 6 minutes rather than 3 minutes in the microwave to make it with LOTS of mixing AND additional water. And the macaroni was still a bit firm, not expanded wide & soft. It’s not bad since you can use it for other foods like vegetables, so I’m ok with it. It’s a BIG bowl that can easily cook 1 box or more of mac & cheese, but it’s small enough to fit in my small refrigerator/small shelf and fast enough to clean with some wet toilettes. To add more nutrition (omega-3), I added canned tuna to it after it was finally cooked and garnished it with cilantro leaves & chopped green onions. It tasted pretty good.

I suspect this may work great for Kraft Mac-n-Cheese, but, if you have different kinds, especially different noodles, you have trial-n-error the water amount. It took about three boxes before we got it where we needed it.

This bowl is very thick and sturdy. I love that the handles do not get hot and it is easy enough to grab out of the microwave. It is dishwasher safe, even on the bottom rack. The only downside is that when cooking with a red sauce it has stained the insides of the bowl. My kids like them so much that ordered more to send with them when they went to college. I would buy these again.

I have only ever cooked Kraft powder mac in this container and it does a good job. My only complaints would be that it boils over if you put the water AT the fill line. It needs to be a little below (basically just enough to cover the pasta).

I like the fact that I can FINALLY cook pasta in my microwave. It does take longer than advertised because I have a 700 watt microwave but still doable. Still have to seek out alternate pasta types with instructions. Maybe they should develope a small cookbook to include with their products. I also have an original Rapid Ramen cooker and Rapid Oatmeal Cooker that I consistently use

I bought this to use for cooking Mac and cheese and ramen and it works great and was the cheaper option. Iβve had no issues and glad I bought this. (You will have to break up your ramen some to use due to smaller size but still cooked well)
