When my wife decided that we needed a single-serve coffee maker instead of replacing the drip coffee maker, we had quite a bit of coffee left over, so I ordered these. The the thousands of reviews influenced my decision. I almost never give five-star reviews myself, but I really like these. The information in the company’s write-up here is very useful. Not much on the box.First tip: If you have trouble getting to the seam to open the cup, find the hinge. The slightly larger gap there is easier to work in a fingernail to pop it open. There are two probable reasons for someone getting grounds in their cup. First, using too fine a grind. Second, overfilling (and spilling some grounds on the container itself). See in the picture where the container is filled? That looks like the recommended quarter of an inch. Also, I suggest filling it part way, tapping it on the side or gently shaking so the coffee settles, then repeat. It’s been made clear that closing the coffee maker should never be forced. Be gentle, reposition if necessary. For me, it actually takes less effort to close the coffee maker onto this container than it does for an actual sealed K-Cup.I do not like dumping all the grounds down the drain, so my suggestion for people who agree or want to keep them for composting is to invert the cup, tap it on the bottom with a spoon or knife handle, then rinse. Wash later when ready. Note, try not to tap on or push the screen of the filter. It’s not difficult to use properly, and can save money over K-Cups.

This is the first reusable k cup that I have purchased that actually works fine (and I have tried too many to count and they all were horrible, shooting out grinds and water, etc). This works just like a store bought prefilled kcup. The water pours down in one single stream and makes a great cup of coffee. The only thing is, is after drinking the cup of coffee, there is a very slight residue of coffee on the bottom of the cup, but it is so slight that I can live with this. It doesn’t affect your coffee and you can’t taste any grinds. It’s a lot cheaper to just put in your own coffee grounds than always having to buy pre-made expensive k-cups. But just make sure that before you purchase to make sure that you coffee maker is compatible.

Iโm a sucker for the environment but also try to be healthier. That means Iโve cut back on coffee, changed coffees, etc since getting a keurig as a Christmas present. These cups are my environmentally conscientious version of still having the convenience of getting just one cup. I take the cup and bang the open k cup in the side of the trash can (or compost bin) to get the majority out then wash in the dishwasher or sink with a repurposed toothbrush. So, itโs relatively easy. Theyโre holding up. There is a bit of silt at the bottom of the cup of coffee but Iโm ok with that. I donโt want to use filters to get rid of that.

Now that Iโm drinking a cup or two of coffee a day, Iโve realized prepackaged coffee pods are actually pretty expensive. I finally bought a bag of grounds, and today these DIY pods and scoop came in the mail. They work great! I was thinking the scoop was a dumb addition, especially for the price, but itโs quite substantial and very useful. It makes it unbelievably easy to fill the pods. I just filled a pod to just under the top of the silver mesh, closed it, tapped it on the counter to level it, and it was perfect. It rinsed as well as Iโd expect; I plan on putting it through the dishwasher. I prefilled the other 3 so Iโm good for the next several cups.I WILL update my review if there are any issues. Iโm a habitual review updater. ๐

After reading some of the reviews that it didnโt fit the Keurig Mini, I was apprehensive in purchasing but decided to take a chance and so glad I did! I have no problems in the fit at all. Works perfectly with my Keurig Mini. Easy to clean and works as it should. The only negative (which has nothing to do with the product itself), was there was a delay in delivery and I didnโt receive it as scheduled to the point where I was about to cancel the order.Other than that, good product and value.

OK, now understand I am an analyst and don’t believe everything I read or hear. ๐ Went to visit my niece in CA and she used these every day. I watched and watched. After a week and a long air flight back home, the first thing I did was order the same one for us. Well, now I am ordering more. They are made of good quality silicon with wire mesh and lock tight. We fill them every night and add them to the coffee bowl for morning coffee. I use the water nozzle to clean them with hot water and once a week I soak them in soapy water and use the nozzle again until the water runs clear and no soap. let them dry well before filling again and add the coffee grounds to a can for your garden or flower pots. I love them and am buying more today as backups if I need them. Will keep you all in the loop on how long they last. Thanks.

I was excited to have these for some coffee I received as a gift. I filled the cup as directed. As I awaited the first cup of yummy coffee to be made, instead of coffees going into my cup, it began coming out of the k-cup area and spilled all over my counter. I cleaned everything and filled another pod as directed. I took it to work and prepared for a mess but hoped for the best when I tried it in the Kurig at work. It worked like a charm! No problem. So I filled a pod as directed and tried again at home in my Kurig. Again a mess was made. Iโm not sure why this happens but Iโve been taking the pods to work and have had no issues. I continue to use store bought k-cups in my home Kurig and have no issues. So I guess use with this in mind and do not use unattended.

makes using my Keurig coffee maker far cheaper by using ground coffee fill it to the top snap closedand throw it into the pot…. I’ve found that a small bag of pre ground coffee is the easiest to mess withjust fill the open container with a teaspoon…. wipe off the top rim and snap closed… and use itclean out by opening it up and running hot water on it and it is ready for the next use.
