   My blender jar toppled from the work space and shattered the outside ring. I ordered replacement parts. They fit my jar and base perfectly and I also have sharper blades and replacement washer-rings. Replacement parts a lot cheaper than a new blender.

   Wife announced the blender was broken and that she was going to go buy a new one on the weekend. Being the resourceful husband I am, I inspected the blender and realized the only problem was the plastic ring on the bottom was cracked. Checked old Amazon and found this product that replaced the plastic ring but also included a new blade and rubber seals, sweet! Item showed up, the original blade seemed to be of better quality and was actually still sharper than the one here, so I set that aside for future repairs. The rubber gaskets (it comes with 2, so now I have a spare) and plastic ring were a perfect fit.Put it all together and proudly showed my wife that I’ve fixed the blender! She got all mad, saying she really wanted a new one with more features and now there was no reason to buy one. Uh, we use this thing to make fruit smoothies for the kids, didn’t know blenders had more features beyond *whiirrrrrrchopchopchop* noises, but here we are.

   I really only needed the blades, but the only way to buy oster brand was in a 2 pack, so I bought the ring, gaskets, and blade for less money (made in China of course) than a blade only 2 pack. So far, so good….no leaks.

   After years on daily smoothies the original plastic bottom of my blender broke so I got this replacement, same quality as the original so hoping to get a few years out of this one too.

   I actually had placed my blender in the recycle bin before deciding to research the availability of parts to fix the problem. I was really pleased that Oster still offers this option! The seal had failed on the bottom of the blade attachment so the blender leaked from the bottom. You still have to make sure that the ring is tight since seating the blender tends to loosen it and make it prone to leaking. I think that this is a design flaw but overall, it’s a great blender and an easy fix that saved me money vs. purchasing a new one!

   The plastic black ring that came with my blender broke and I couldn’t foresee buying a whole new blender when everything else still works great. Was excited to find these replacement parts for under $10. The parts did not come in Oster packaging but seem to be of the same quality as the originals.
