I usually drink out of a can when I am outside. No matter where I set my drink there is the possibility of a bee, fly, Ant or anything else crawling into my drink. When I was a kid a little girl got stung by a bee in her mouth because it went in her can of soda. I’ve been afraid of that ever since! These work perfect for that! Just be sure to put the cap on the end of the straw after taking a sip or they could still go down the straw! If the can accidentally gets knocked over, it is not leakproof however if the cap is on you will probably only get a little drizzle on the table rather than it spilling on the entire table. That’s good enough for me! I throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher and never had a problem.. I’ve used these almost every day during the summer and haven’t cracked any of them. Hopefully they will hold up summer to summer but if not I would buy them every year just to insure no bee (or other insect) gets in my drink/mouth!!

I have only tried using it once, but it served the basic purpose. I tried drinking a can of soda while lying on my couch; the lid & straw made it much easier than drinking straight from the can. I felt more comfortable about not spilling (much) if I accidentally knocked the can over. The straw has a tight cap & the lid fit fairly tightly to the can. The straw is fairly tight in the lid but not fully sealed to the lid, which makes sense – that allows the straw to move. I did not test it, but I doubt it is “leak-proof” in that if a full can was tipped on its side with the straw nearest the floor, I expect the liquid would leak out if it were left. But if it were picked up right away I think there would be little or no leakage, so I expect it would be vast improvement for klutzes like myself. I did need to remove the lid & straw to get the last bit of soda. Recommended? Yes, if you are looking for something suitable only for pop can size drinks & not a more general-use product.

I use these in the car. The straw is almost a bit too big for your average can opening but once you figure out how to get it in by moving the tab you are good to go. The tops stay on pretty well but I wouldn’t totally depend on them to stay on if they get knocked over.

I don’t like how the straws get a bit stuck in the cans and then get scratched up trying to get them out. Should have been a slimmer straw. Doesn’t save your drink from going flat.

These work just as described! They prohibit anything getting in my soda & seal a lot better than I thought they would. I’m surprised and very pleased!

I prefer can drinks over bottle drink bc to me the flavor is better out of a can. That being said I have how the can feels on my lips. These straw covers are perfect for those who like straws and don’t want to worry about anything getting in your straw. I use the straws and caps on all my drinks with straws.

Lid stays on with no problem. Quality materials. Not flimsy. Great product! Love it!
