This is for small loafs of bread and not for bread machine bread. Even a 1 lb loaf doesn’t fit into the opening and cutting the loaf in half just isn’t what I want to do. Also cutting one piece at a time and taking it out takes forever when you have fresh soft bread. Not at all convenient and not at all what I want in a bread slicer.

This bread cutter is not good. In the first place, it slides when trying to cut and it’s difficult to hold the cutting guide, the bread and a knife – I have only two hands and this requires three!! Secondly, it is not wide enough for bread made in my bread machine. I would not recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, I received my bread machine too late, and now I cannot return the cutting guide!!!!!
