You can buy the Chinese knockoffs at Amazon for nearly half this price. What’s the difference? It’s very subtle. And if you can’t feel the difference, save yourself the money I suppose. The De’Longhi is just slightly heavier than the Apexstone version I own, also bought here. It’s also shinier. The De’Longhi is also just slightly smaller and narrower even both claim to be 12oz. So it does feel slightly sturdier overall. But the real difference is that the De’Longhi, has more of a feel of art to it, while the Apexstone feels like a disposable tool to be used up, disposed of, and forgotten. The De’Longhi has that extra “humanity” designed into.If you need to buy hundreds of these for a business, I’d go with the cheaper one. But if you will be using this hands-on daily, spending the extra money would be my choice.

The product is decent, but over priced. Comparable competitors’ products are at least 50% cheaper. I knew this when I bought it, but I thought the aesthetic quality of a Delonghi product would be worth it in the end. It was not. The Delonghi trademark on the side of the cup looks really bad, as though from a cheap computer printer.

Beautiful and high quality item made in Italy. A perfect companion to my Delonghi Dinamica!

It’s got a decent heft to it and holds my milk while I steam it

Maybe it was a faulty one.

I have a high-end La Spaziale espresso machine and typically make 2 lattes at a time using a 20 oz milk pitcher. Making one at a time in the large pitcher is difficult because the steam wand is just too powerful for the shallower serving of milk, either cow’s milk or oat. This 12 oz pitcher solves that problem perfectly. Now a 6 oz pour of milk steams and froths properly, and is perfect for a single latte or when I am making two but one person wants oat milk. I like the spout shape, too; easy and controlled pouring. Assuming it lasts, I don’t mind paying more for this seemingly well made in Italy product.

I ordered a new product and received a very used one. Seems nice though. Sending back for a brand new one. I’ll do a product review after receiving the replacement.
