Not OEM, silver color plastic. It matched the length of broken handle. Didn’t really match the post holes. Mounted top post then forced bottom up and screwed it in. Sure view shows a bit of gap. That said price was right, it doesn’t look horrible, and better then the broken one.

It’s inexpensive. Works as advertised. Be advised it is just a inexpensive plastic handle (genuine imitation metal lol) … but for $11 bucks what do you expect? It looks just fine! I used it on a built-in microwave on a rental property. For the price, I would buy again if I need one.

Just a word of advice before you try to tighten the screws holding the handle in place. This was MY mistake, I should have known better.Anyway, before trying to mount the handle with the existing screws (the handle does not come with screws) I highly recommend that you pre-thread the holes with the screws you’re going to use to permanently mount the handle. It might be a good idea turn the screws into a block of wax (if you have one), or perhaps a dab of petroleum jelly before even attempting to pre-thread the holes.I found that for some reason, the top screw went in like a charm, the bottom screw … did not … and then, I couldn’t get the bottom screw backed out to try to lubricate it as I indicate above. I didn’t want to reef on the driver or the screw for fear that the plastic handle backing which holds the screw in place would snap off as the originals had (which prompted replacing the handle in the first place).As it sits now, the bottom of the handle is not tight to the microwave door – and it drives me crazy. However, not crazy enough to try to muscle that screw back out.

This replacement fit perfectly on my Samsung SMH1713S microwave and is almost an exact color match for the original. It was really easy to install by popping off the interior trim to expose the bottom screw (I used a butter knife to gently pry it away).
