Gasket isn’t as easy to install as the original. You really need to take a butterknife and pry it into place. It seems too small at first but it’s the exact size of the inner ring.

Well worth the price and did the trick in fixing our instapot to make the seal that we needed. Worth the price and did the job.

Our original Instant Pot gasket took on an odor that was impossible to get out. Simple replacement working great and time will tell if it takes on an odor impossible to get out like the original. Used a couple times and so far so good.

I make Swedish Snus in the pressure cooker, and the silicone sealing rings do take a very strong odor from the tobacco treatment process. Tried everything to get rid of the strong smell to no avail. Needed spare silicone rings. People do grow tobacco (Burley and Virginia types) commercially as far north as Trondheim, Norway.
FAZ –
This is my first time not using the instant pot silicone rings and these can leak sometimes on my 6 quart Instant pot. Suddenly steam starts shooting out from the side and making a big noise after it’s come up to pressure. This has happened four times out of 30ish times used with these seals. I’m still using them but won’t buy again unless I find out it’s something I’m doing wrong.

The silicone sealing ring that came with our 6 qt Instant Pot had acquired an aroma that wouldn’t go away (sort of a turnip and parsnip smell). These are a perfect fit replacement, and arrived gloriously aroma free. Nice to get them in a set of three, as we assume we will have to periodically replace the sealing ring going forward.
